I was thinking today about how short life is. Everyday i wake up and take for granted every breath i take. At any time i could die from various things. Either a car accident, a school shooting, heart attack, or even choking! But yet we treat everyday like we deserve to live. Yesterday in choir i found out my partner for our showchoir ballad was going to shoot himself in the head and end his life. There were SO many opportunities that i had to witness and reach out to him, but i was always too tired or just didn't feel like it. Really? We as Christians are suppose to take every opportunity God gives us to reach out to those around us! We really have no idea what's going on in their lives. People tend to hide their inner anguish and frusteration, rather than letting it all out. So next time you see someone you don't normally talk to or just hangs with a different group of people, say hi and start a conversation. You never know how you could be helping them!
